Zoe Tamerlis Lund (born February 9, 1962), also known as Zoe Tamerlis (maiden name) and Zoe Tamerlaine, was a former American musician turned model, actress, and screenwriter.
Some of her other acting work included a guest spot on Miami Vice and Larry Cohen's Special Effects.
Lund co-wrote the screenplay for Bad Lieutenant, and left behind much unpublished material. Although she had never met supermodel Gia Carangi, she was working on a biographical screenplay of Carangi's life at the time of her death, and she appeared posthumously in the documentary The Self-Destruction of Gia.
For actress and screenwriter Zoe Lund drugs were not an addiction but a celebration. That celebration ended on April 16, 1999, when the ex-model became an ex-life and died of heart and lung failure due to her love of heroin and cocaine.
She is most famous as the star of Ms. 45 (1980) and for her infamous screenplay Bad Lieutenant (1992)
